Hey gang – we’ve been super busy at the shop, and haven’t had much time to update our blog lately. We’ve got several projects in the works – check it out:
We’ve been slowly outfitting our woodworking/guitar building section of our shop, preparing to build some custom guitars in earnest. We’ve built a couple of new woodworking benches, jigs, etc., which will be used not only for building guitars but also for doing some of our more intense repairwork.

We’ve also built a spray booth into the shop. While we’ve always prided ourselves on doing some impressive finish work, we haven’t been able to complete projects in as timely a manner as we would have liked, simply because we haven’t had the proper tooling to get it done quickly with good results. Enter our new spray booth: we’ve equipped it with a fume extraction system, new spray guns, and a new air compressor. Now our finish work will be even better, and hopefully, much faster. This is going to be rad.

Speaking of custom guitars, we’ve been building a few for an upcoming charity auction hosted by Foreign Cinema restaurant and benefiting Little Kids Rock. We’re building the guitars, and prominent local artists are painting them. We’ve got three of them back so far, with more on the way. Sweet!
