Here’s a handy little tip for all of you out there with trapeze tailpieces. We all know how frustrating it is trying to keep the ball end fram falling out while stringing the guitar: one hand is occupied turning the tuning key, and the other hand is busy holding the string, and then… the ball end slips out of the tailpiece, and you have to start all over. You really need a third arm to hold that thing in there, right? We’ve found a super easy solution for all your troubles: stick a piece of foam under there. It holds the string in place, and also protects the top of the guitar from getting smacked by a falling tailpiece. Huzzah!
