Rates Generally, I prefer to be given a free hand so that there is no need to rush a job, and I always give a great job for your money. My rates are competitive, and I have a real passion for quality. My shop rate is $100 per hour, and there is a minimum bench charge of $25. There are no parts costs factored into the estimates. All parts required are charged separately. Set-up work and playability issues: Set-up-$90 for a non-Floyd Rose, $110 with Floyd Rose. Includes setting relief, setting action, adjusting pick-up height, setting intonation at the nut and bridge, matching bridge radius to the neck, cleaning the instrument, tightening all hardware and a re-string. Includes a reasonable amount of free, drop-in adjustments to make sure it is just as you like it. Strings not included. If the nut is grossly out and needs shimming or filling, there will be an additional labor charge. Truss-rod adjust only - $30.00 Intonation only - $30.00 New nut - $85 New acoustic saddle - $60-75 Level and dress frets - $240 If frets are loose, they must be glued $5 per fret before leveling can take place. Refret - $425 includes leveling the fingerboard on the neck jig, super gluing the frets into the board, and set-up. Floyd-Rose style tremolos $25-75 extra. Work-hardening the fretwire is an additional $25.00, and dramatically increases the life of the frets. Partial refret, normally requires a new nut- $50 for the first fret, $20 per additional fret.
