You’ve been waiting and now it’s here! The SF Guitarworks Electronics Workshop. Have you ever wondered what was under the knobs on your guitar? Why the signal cuts out when you move your cable? Why it crackles when you turn the volume or tone knobs? This hands-on workshop will answer all these questions and more. We’ll start with a lecture/Q&A about the components in a guitar’s electronic circuitry, move into a soldering demonstration and hands-on practice and then you’ll wrap up the workshop by installing an electronics upgrade in your guitar. Maybe a no-load pot? Could be a treble bleed circuit or a different value tone capacitor. How about a new set of pickups? Just like in our Set-up Workshop, you will have your own fully equipped bench. Geoff and the crew will show you the in’s and out’s of all the wiring, maintenance and upgrade possibilities present in your guitar. The first workshop will be Nov 19 from 9am to 1pm, with a cost of $225. Space is limited to 5 students, so call today to reserve your space.
