Gotta admit – we see a lot of really crazy wiring jobs in our shop. Rat’s nests, sloppy soldering, cheap components, mystery wires… we’ve seen it all. Some of it can be pretty amusing (well, at least amusing to us) – check it out:
Here’s how it should be done – we wire all of our guitars to NASA specs, with clean solder joints, short wire runs, quality components, and clean layouts (or at least we assume that’s what NASA would expect. Damnit, Jim! We’re guitar techs, not astronauts!). Here’s a sampling of our work:
